Dr. Gillian Growse, Chiropractor
Dr. Gillian Growse earned a Bachelor of Science Honours degree in Kinesiology from the University of Western Ontario. She later obtained her Doctorate of Chiropractic degree from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto, Ontario where she graduated with magna cum laude and clinic honors distinctions. During her studies, Dr. Growse pursued additional training in Contemporary Medical Acupuncture through McMaster University.
In practice, Dr. Gillian applies a multidisciplinary, evidence-based and patient-centered approach to optimizing health and recovery. She firmly believes in diagnosing and treating the root cause of the issue and not just temporarily masking the pain.
She treats a wide variety of conditions, including back pain, neck pain, headaches, sprains/strains, rotator cuff injuries, tennis elbow, jaw pain, foot pain and generalized joint pain. Dr. Growse uses a variety of techniques including myofascial release technique, active release technique (ART), instrument assisted soft tissue therapy, manipulation, mobilization, electrical acupuncture, and therapeutic exercises, to get her patients moving and feeling better.
At Simcoe Health, she believes in leading an active lifestyle and encouraging her patients to so as well.
In her free time Dr. Growse enjoys yoga, spinning, skiing, and cooking.
